The wind got up this afternoon whipping up the sea into large waves and white horses. Surprisingly the only thing coming past Crail were gannets. The ones heading out of the Firth were going very fast with the wind behind them. Heading out towards to the site of the new wind farm: I have been watching the construction platform work its way along the horizon for the last couple of weeks. It must be laying the foundations for the turbine towers. The open horizon is on borrowed time, although it’s not the view I’m worried about.
